That set up should all work well together - and be able to run any game released up until this point at maximum to near maximum settings.

The i7 isn't a super hot processor, but you should still invest in the aftermarket cooling fan for better performance, especially if you ever plan to overclock. (Although you won't need to for a while).

The second motherboard listed is micro-ATX. You are using a normal sized tower so this small form factor isn't necessary - go with the ASUS one. (If you don't need WiFi built into the motherboard, you could get a cheaper Z77 board and not notice the difference)

For gaming, I would consider getting a set of speakers rather than relying on the little ones stuffed into a monitor too.

650 watts is more than enough for your setup, but the graphics card is SLi compatible - which means you could put a second one in and run them simultaneously. For that you might need more wattage, if you think you might do that in the future.

Good gaming!

I would stick with the Asus mobo as they perform very good and stay cool under load. I would strongly recommend on getting an SSD hard drive as they perform way faster than regular disk drives specially since u plan on having a gaming PC. Crucial M4 SSDs (128GB)will give u no problem. Everything else looks like its gonna work and i would also recommend getting an after market CPU cooler. Corsair and Antec are some good brands 2 keep that CPU cool. Try 2 know everything your gonna add up 2 your build to know if your just gonna need the 650W or if your gonna need more. Thats all up 2 u.
