in project igi how do i activate the scope to zoom in?

i got stuck at the 'GOD - defend the friendly troops' level in Project IGI. i'm not able to get the satisfactory result at zooming in. that's why i can't step forward into the next level. i wanna know -
after i get the sniper rifle in project igi how do i activate the scope to zoom in maximum to my enemies or target. remember i want MAXIMUM ZOOM IN. If you know how, please tell me how. thanks

u need to press ur alternate fire button, i think its backspace button.. then press page up until the maximum zoom
