I often feel like the PC I got last Christmas is... Not so good. I feel like I can't run all the high-res games and programs and I feel left out because I have trouble running Sculptris 3D modeler. I love creating 3D models and it is something I have a passion for but I just don't have the money or PC to get any good modeling programs.

Here are my specs:

My graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 4200.

I really want a good PC that is like a thousand dollars but I'm only 14 and my allounce is limited. What do you think I can do to earn more money and buy a better PC? Do I need to buy a better PC?

And the big question, is my PC considered "good" or "bad"?

Your pc is ok , medium rated for media using , and internet

however for gaming you might have issues , its not a bad pc though its upgradable

dont buy a new pc thats a complete waste of cash and since your limited on budget i recommend upgrades

if you want an excellent gaming card that can max out most games out there your looking for a gtx 460 video card , its 160 dollars

If your just using your computer for video rendering go with a 9800 gt

And for faster performance upgrade your cpu

Intel quad core cpu,s are excellent not only for gaming but also for multi tasking

I hope this helped

Thumbs down is for at the same time as i imagine someone is being completely ridiculous or downright rude and insulting. If human beings do not get a `thumbs down` for promulgating racial hatred, let's imagine, human beings will look on the reply and imagine that I and all of us trust or have discovered no insult or undesirable feeling contained contained in the reply. that does no longer look sturdy to some thing of he international and makes us all look heartless or detached. different garbage spouted out in this section is disgusting to assert the least and to enable it bypass `unthumbed` may be morally incorrect. Now, reporting is a unique count. I one hundred% trust in freedom of speech, yet I have had the most harmless solutions bumped off through the religista. How about, "convinced a touch" as `no longer an answer` ??? EDIT: a minimum of if you have become thumbs in any direction, you already know each and every human being is interpreting what you're saying, even with in the experience that they don`t like it.

Well your pc seems nice but there are 2 cons : the processor and the video card. These are kinda old. You dont need to buy a new pc only these two components if you want everything to run smoothly. You could get very good CPU (processor) and video card for 500$-700$.Maybe cheaper, i dont know the correct prices in your country but the best thing would be to go to the computer service and colsult. They will offer the best prices and advice what to buy.

Summer is coming so try to get any local summer jobs, maybe help your parents or relative like uncle who owns a farm or something so you could get some money.

Goold luck !

Your PC costs in the neighborhood of $700 probably when it was bought.

What's killing you in 3D rendering is the graphics card. Getting a GeForce will do it for an hobbyist level, but do expect it to be slow. Once you're serious, then look a NVIDIA Quadro class that will cost from $600 - $4000 depending what you want to do.

Yes, there are some quadro priced less, but from experience, they are trash if you're into serious rendering.
