this message appears:

"Unable to find Ubisoft Game Launcher, please re-install Assassin's Creed II.
Ubisoft Game Launcher:
Error code 1."

I uninstalled it and installed it again, but nothing changed.
What should I do?

By the way, I've installed it in the 'E' drive, and the windows is in the 'C'. (Windows 7 ultimate)

Thanx

first of all check that did you by that game from a trusted retailer or not then if so then check did you paste the crack file in the installation folder cuz most games do this they have a crack file & if you don't paste them then the game won't run & a message similar to this will appear:

........missing or not found reinstalling the application might solve this problem or dxd 309 missing.

in this case you need a crack file if this is not the case then check or update your direct X or see if your graphics driver is installed or deleted by mistake if this doesn't work then keep changing the resolution becoz in many games the resolution in default is set at low or extremely high in this case if your screen resolution is not the same some games won't run if all that doesn't work out for you then ask your retailer to change it with another copy of that game & tell him this game is corrupted.

try what i told you cuz that's all i know & plz select my answer as best cuz i did my best to help you.

TRY this method to bypass the following Error: '"Unable to find Ubisoft Game Launcher, Please re-install Assassin's Creed II. Ubisoft Game Launcher: Error code 1."

Which version of game do you all have, Retail DVD or STEAM ?

First you need to Manually delete the entire 'Ubisoft Game Launcher' folder, e.g. from C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher. Also remove it from Control Panel----> Add/Remove programs (Programs & Features).

After that again reinstall the Game Launcher from the disk/DVD. Browse the DVD, and go to 'Support-----> Game Launcher', and run the UbisoftGameLauncherInstaller.exe file. OR, reinstall the software from here:

http://static3.cdn.ubi.com/orb...auncherInstaller.exe

Also give this a read, if using a STEAM copy of AC2:

If the above methods still don't work, then you can try deleting the 'Registry' entries of the Launcher.

Portal 2 is a great one. Red Dead Redemption is also fun.
