Current specs:
CPU: Intel i5 3570k 3.4 GHz - 3.8 GHz Turbo - Quad Core, 6 MB L2 cache, 18 MB L3 cache
RAM: Corsair 2x4GB @ 1600 MHz
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 780 OC 3 GB
Running at 1920x1080 @ 60 Hz
HDD: Some 7200 RPM HDD with 16 MB buffer
And around 20 MB/s connection speed.

Can currently run Far Cry 3 at max settings with 60 FPS and GTA IV with 60 FPS and rare drops at 45 FPS.
I know the possible answer, but just to make sure :)

Yes, you will be able to play GTA5 without issue. The GTX 780 is currently the second best video card available, and the i5 3570K is a fantastic processor. 8GB is very good for gaming computers, and 1600MHz is a great speed, too.

your PC config is more than enough to run GTA 5 at max settings if it comes to PC.

Currently GTA 5 is not confirmed for PC by rockstar games. But there are many possibilities that it will reach PC. Rockstar games is already started hiring people for bringing latest titles to the PC platform

You can run GTA V easily on atleast medium but you should be expecting high, your graphic card is a lot powerful but not worth the money, you can get a graphic card 6 times cheaper which can run GTA V on medium and probably high aswell, your processor is really good and worth it and your speed is quite fast too

I think gta v will run a lot smoother than gta IV but you also have a nice pc. You will be able to run it no matter what. Low settings at the very least.
