Hi I've played a game called fallensword for years and I thought maybe it may interest you as a fellow gamer too! :)

Fallen Sword is a massively multiplayer role playing game set in the exciting and evolving world of Erildath. Players enter the world and explore, adventure across a vast number of realms with thousands of other players. It is FREE and has 1 million users.

Fallen Sword is a great game to play on your own or with friends. It has an old school MUD (Multi-User Dungeon) feel to it, with a great combat system. Slice your way through the many dungeons and group with your friends to defeat Legendary creatures.

It has guilds, auctions player vs player or good old fashioned critter bashing, there are also maps to show you where to go, a wiki and forum to help you out :) give it a go you never know you might have fun

The other people gave you games that arent mmorpg and steam doesnt have many mmorpg, and if you dont know an mmorpg is a massively multiplayer online role playing game, skyrim/fallout are just rpg games. mmorpg are guild wars 2, firefall, upcoming elder scrolls online, ragnarok online 2, defiance, vindictus, and some of these are on steam. Try searching top mmorpg videos on youtube they always helped me.

Try out Torn City at http://www.torn.com/1643433

It's free, no downloads. You level up, make money, work a job, own a business, commit crimes, attack other players, create factions and go to war with rival factions, very large player base. I personally love the game. You chat with friends, and post pictures and stats.

Minecraft itself it really boring in single player, but I play with about 10 of my acquaintances, and we have now a blast! One of the Funnest sport you'll ever play. Promise.
