I want to play Tomb Raider III that I used to play on our old iMac back in 2000. That iMac is now dead and all I have is my 6-year-old MacBook with OS 10.6.8. The TRIII disk, however, is designed to run on OS9 so it will not run on my MacBook.

I heard about something called DOSbox that can run old games so I downloaded and successfully installed it...but I have NO idea how to even start using it! I'm not computer-savvy at all so if somebody could explain this to me, preferably as if I am 5-years-old, I would be very grateful.

DOSBox is a DOS emulator, and thus emulates DOS. Playing a Mac game on a DOS emulator is like playing a Mac game on a XBOX emulator -- they're completely different systems.

Tomb Raider 3 is a Windows/Macintosh/PlayStation game. DOSBox runs DOS games. I suggest you obtain Mac copy of the game.
