I recently bought the game 'LIMBO' from the Humble Indie Bundle, but I start it, it instantly brings up: 'limbo.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.' I have a Windows XP with a NVidia GeForce 6150 LE graphics card, and 2GB RAM.

A common problem (and the one I had) is that the desktop shortcut created by the installer points to the wrong Start In directory.

Try deleting the default shortcut and creating your own.

Alternatively, right click on the shortcut, go to Properties, then change the directory in the Start In field to the one where your game is installed (e.g. for me it is E:\Games\Limbo).

There seems to be problem with drivers.

1. Try running Windows Update and look for any graphics card drivers. Also, download any critical/recommenced updates.

2. Since you brought LIMBO from Steam - activate the key on Steam and try running the game from the Steam client.

3. Open http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

and download any graphics card drivers.

wtf? there is Limbo for PC? If actually is I think it doesn't support XPs anymore... Try another newer operating system otherwise your graphic drivers aren't fully updated...
