I bought a usb controller on ebay a few months ago, and it works fine except it takes a lot of pressure to make the d-pad work. Is there a way to configure this and make it more sensitive? this makes the d-pad unplayable and I have to remap the controls to the analog for games requiring it.

Here is a picture of mine to make sure you know what one I have:

The only thing I can think of is that the contacts are dirty and therefore would require opening it and cleaning. Otherwise, possibly tapping the D-pad buttons repeatedly may break them in faster. I never had one, but from experience of normal N64 controllers, one of these methods should work.
