Dead Space 3 keeps on lagging from time to time?

Question

I am Playing Dead Space 3 but the thing is that the game works fine for the first few min than the fps drop really low and if i wait for a couple of minutes than it goes back to normal but after a couple of min the fps drops again and than i have to wait again for it to go back to normal

My PC Spec are:
P4 2.8 Ghz
3.5 Gb ram
Nvidia 9500GT 1 Gb
Windows Xp (Service Pack 3)

I really need a way to fix this because its taking the fun out of it and will there be a patch to fix this or is this just a problem with my PC ???

dead space 3 has been lagging for me as well, the only problem ive found was the game is over heating my CPU and causing the lag. but instead of going out and buying a new heat synce go ahead and get a core 2 duo CPU if ur mobo has LGA775 socket, if not just get a P4D. i have almost the same specs as you on my computer

core 2 duo 1.8ghz

9500gt OC

3GB ram

ineffective homestead 3 has been lagging for me as solid, the single substantial subject ive desperate was the sport is over heating my CPU and inflicting the lag. yet instead of going out and determining to purchase a clean warmth synce go forward and get a center 2 duo CPU if ur mobo has LGA775 socket, if now not in simple terms get a P4D. sounds like your computer may need to be upgraded. is it a purpose built gaming rig?
