how to run skype while playing games?

i have windows 8.1 and skype is pre installed onto windows. when i turn on skype to talk to a friend and start playing a game i cant hear him and he cant hear me the only way it works its if i put skype on the side of the screen and put the game on windowed mode ..... plz help

Get a speaker phone or use a cell.



Generally speaking, most games don't co-operate with skype much.



If you're looking to talk with him while the two of you are playing the SAME game...
