i have bought 'kitty luv' and 'wildlife park 2' pc cd rom games for the laptop.
kitty luv says 'we dont recognise your video card' when i try to access it and...
wildlife park says 'the minimum shader requirements cannot be met (vertex and pixel shader vdersion 1.1)
i dont understand any of this as i dont know much about pc games. just thought any of them would work.
can someone explain what i would need to do to sort it out or is it a lost cause?

look at the minimum requirements for your games. i checked it for you online... you need to have a 3d accelerator video card in your laptop for the games to work. its the thinggy that process the 3d graphics of the games. games nowadays usually need that. if your laptop was old, chances are it doesnt have that. even entry level laptops today are only able to process 3d games. solution: buy a newer laptop, or get games that can run on your laptop... dont forget to check the game's system requirements first ok?

it means that you dont have a dedicated graphics in your laptop...it is a lost cause, the only solution is to get a new laptop/computer with at least an ATI X300 graphics card or a nVidia 6200. The game will be playable but you will get poor performance
