Ok i have been playing samurai of legend and torn city for awhile now, im looking for a game that will let me customize my own person, character, and gain perks, gear, etc. over time and be able to work at it, not just a simple crazy monkey game or anything but a serious game that i can log on to.
Prefer one i don't have to buy or download.

League of Legends. You play in 5 and 3 person teams and basically try to take over the enemy base by defeating other champions and minions and stuff. Just watch the Twisted Treeline trailer.

The game "Way of the Samurai" for PS2 was kind of a samurai game with RPG elements. It was more action based so it wasn't anything deep but it was pretty fun for what it is.. unless you're talking about MMORPGs, in which case I don't think there's many Japanese-themed games because most are made in China and Korea and neither of those countries likes the Japanese very much.

First RPG I ever played was runescape, try that.

It has a free and a members account (I think they still have free acounts, haven't played it in a couple years, switched to world of warcraft)
