I have a Ps3. Play it on occasion. But most people say PC is better. I have the money for a PC. Money isnt the issue. Its does the PC have games I enjoy? I dont play COD, BF or any FPS crap for that matter. Pretty much cross off shooters and RPGs. I have no time to build a gaming PC. I really see no interest or the hype people throw out to PCs. Ive watched friends play PC and it seems to be the same. I do not care for graphics and crap like that. Only gameplay. Which would seem the PC doesnt provide, at least for me anyway. So whats better?

If your like me love your ps3 , now ps4 , I've tried PC gaming and found the controlling difficult to handle , I personally wouldn't swap my ps4 for anything . But if your used to playing PC I believe it's brilliant , but needs constantly upgrading especially in this world of constant tech capabilities . If you love your ps3 and love the controls then ps4 is the way to go , they've improved the controller even better

You can play games on PC like you can on PS3. Both are good but PC is great to play games when you have a high graphics card, like nVidia 660. That's meant to be awsome,

PC is better in every conceivable way. It has a better control system with more precision and more keys/buttons (controllers/joysticks/steering wheels etc can be used too), more games that are cheaper and most, if not all games are moddable in some way. It's cheaper in the long run (much cheaper) and possibly cheaper at first when comparing to the current price of a next gen console depending on if you buy a low, mid or high spec system. PC is a lot less restrictive than console and can be used for so much more than gaming and simple apps. And of course the graphics are always going to be better on a "next-gen" PC than on an 8th gen console.

A while ago a made a document comparing the running costs of an Xbox 360, a PS4 and a mid spec gaming PC all with peripherals and everything required for use. It's completely hypothetical and was made a while ago (some prices were estimates or may have changed), I also forgot how I worked out the total cost for DLC so take it with a pinch of salt. I made it using estimated amounts/costs of games/DLC/peripherals and the total can vary depending how seriously you take your gaming. Because Yahoo doesn't have any features similar to those you find on Forums I'm just going to copy/paste it in instead of using a spoiler to hide its size, here goes... It's in £ because I'm from the UK.

PC vs Last Gen vs Next Gen running costs.

Xbox 360 4yr running cost-

Xbox 360: £200

Spare controllers (2): £70

Headset: £35

Live membership (4 years): £160

TV: £350

New Games (20/5 per year): £850

Used/Old games (20/5 per year): £350

Marketplace currency for DLC: £125

Other accessories (replacements as well): £100

Total: £2240

PS4 4yr running cost-

PS4: £350

Spare controllers (2): £110

Headset: £40?

PS Plus: £150?

TV: £400

New Games (20/5 per year): £1000

Old/Used Games (20/5 per year): £550

Marketplace currency for DLC: £125

Other accessories: £150

Total: £2875

Mid spec PC 4yr running cost-

Tower: £550

KBM + Gamepad: £50

Headset+Speakers: £50

Monitor: £120

New Games (20/5 per year): £600

Old Games (20/5 per year): £150

DLC: £125

Desk + Chair: £100

Total: £1745 (£1495 if low spec PC, £1445 if basic gaming peripherals & £1345 if a desk isn’t required.)

Conclusion- PC is actually a lot cheaper than console and has a very flexible budget. The more games you buy the cheaper PC gets and 40 games over 4 years is very modest.

If you're not a serious gamer, which you don't sound like you are, stick with consoles. And when it comes to RPGs PC doesn't get much of them other than the AAA ones.

So yeah, stick with console. Unless you're interested in modding.

The gameplay is the same, but when you take it for the graphics, you must buy a pc ;)
